About Peavey Rudy Sarzo Signature Cirrus Bass
The bassist behind many of rock's legendary marquee bands with 30 million records sold, Rudy Sarzo has played Peavey gear for more than 25 years, through gigs with Quiet Riot, Ozzy Osbourne, Whitesnake, Yngwie Malmsteen, Dio and Blue yster Cult. "When I first got my hands on the first Peavey Cirrus bass at its NAMM debut, I couldn't let go of it, " said Sarzo. "My new signature-model Cirrus incorporates elements from my original Peavey signature bass and the Cirrus I played for so many years." The patent pending Peavey Powerplate is a new innovation for stringed instruments. The Powerplate is a metal plate that is embedded into the back of the headstock which increases sustain and volume. The Powerplate is mounted using the machine heads and increases the amount of string vibration energy that is projected by the instrument.
