Most Orders Over $199.99 Ship for Free!

We do not charge shipping or handling on most orders over $199.99 (before taxes or environmental handling fees). There are, of course, a few exceptions for very large or heavy items. There are also exceptions for items being shipped to remote areas. Please see the Exceptions to Free Shipping details below.

Who We Ship With!

We generally use one of 4 different couriers for all of our domestic shipping. We rarely use Canada Post unless an item is going to a PO Box, a remote area, or is letter-mail. Our shipping prices (for orders under $199.99) account for some subsidizing of shipping rates. If you have questions about shipping prices, please reach out to us.

Exceptions To Free Shipping

Very large or heavy items – We reserve the right to charge additional shipping charges for items that are over-sized or very heavy. We will credit the free shipping allowance towards your shipment, and let you know what the difference is before sending anything.

Remote areas – Unfortunately our shipping prices (including our Free Shipping) do not extend to ‘Beyond Point’ postal codes. If you select one of our shipping options, and it comes up as a remote area, we will contact you to discuss your shipping options. Be assured that 99% of postal codes in Canada do qualify for our standard shipping prices (including Free Shipping). Most of the remote areas affected would be in Northern Canada.

Outside Canada - We only offer free shipping within Canada. Rates into the USA are calculated at checkout, and often are fairly reasonable.

In Store Pick Up

If you live in the area near either of our stores, you are welcome to pick up your item. If it has to be transferred between our locations, we will notify you when it is ready for pick up. This option is free, even if we have to transfer it from one location to the other.
